LocateTV Annouces Public Beta Phase

While this isn’t S60-related news, a private beta that I’ve been enjoying very much has announced today that it is no longer private! LocateTV is a very cool service that allows you to search for your favorite TV shows, movies or actors and find very useful info in three categories:

• On TV: TV schedules customized for your cable/satellite provider
• On DVD: Available DVDs (with price comparison details)
• Online: Episodes/movies available for download

This great service is still in beta of course so new data is pouring in each day. Another cool feature of the site is that you can easily generate a custom widget for any search and place info on your show/movie/favorite actor anywhere you like!

I can’t wait to see how LocateTV grows and changes during the development process. I’ve been keeping my eye on the LocateTV blog to stay on top of development and I can’t wait to see some mention of mobilizing the site because I would love to have access to a mobile site for speed and ease while on the go.
