MyStrands Raises $24M in Series B Round
MyStrands announced a major step in their continued growth today as VP of Communications Gabriel Aldamiz-echevarria blogged news of the recent closure of their second funding round. Already pioneering social recommendation technology, MyStrands is now poised for tremendous growth as they continue to develop the space.
Their Social Player app has popularized the company in the S60/WM world and their similar Windows/Mac/Linux player plugins are very widely enjoyed. The MyStrands personalized discovery platform reaches much further than these applications however. As Web 2.0 continues to expand and is adopted by more facets of the internet community, the need for direction and a more dynamic personalized experience continually becomes more apparent.
