Qik Adds Video Download Support
Just a quick FYI for you guys. I’m constantly torn between Qik and Flixwagon. Qik offers better resolution while Flixwagon adds a cleaner UI, more options and more overall features. Qik’s latest addition will hardly sway me in one direction or the other but it’s a convenient little addition none the less.
If you take a peak beneath any video as you watch it on the Qik site, you’ll now see a download link. Sweet! Videos come in FLV format and this is a nice little feature if you want to reblog something without the Qik widget or even edit your own videos. It can also be useful in moving Qik videos to your mobile as I’ve never had much luck with the Qik mobile site.
