Free Commercial Themes, First Run
This was to be done on my personal blog but since it’s been a month or so since I’ve posted there, SiMo it is!
As some of you may know, I started offering several commercial themes via Handango some time ago. I made them for fun (I’m admittedly not the greatest themer) but figured I’d sell them to cover the costs associated with this blog. They ended up selling quite well, in fact many of my themes were number 1 sellers. For reasons outlined in several posts I’ve written however, I’ve decided to pull all of my themes off of Handango. I won’t go into it again, see this post if you’d like an explanation.
I’ve decided to make most or all of my commercial themes available for free here. I would say please don’t repost them without linking back here, but why bother? So enjoy:

CommentsSiMo Blog Themes; Updated and Still Free
Who doesn’t enjoy a free theme every now and again? As I was debating which commercial themes of mine to share first, I came across the two themes I had made for this blog. For those who didn’t see the post on my no defunct personal blog, I will be distributing all of my commercial themes for free as I no longer wish to create any business for Handango.
Back to the matter at hand, I came across the themes I had created for this blog and decided to give them a quick update. Sorry to non-QVGA device owners as I only had time to update the QVGA versions. These days, that should cover a large majority of SiMo readers. Bear in mind that these themes were made before I started using SVG graphics so they’re big files. Also, they won’t rotate to landscape very well and they definitely won’t look good on a display that isn’t 240 x 320. Caveats aside, enjoy! All download links are mobile-friendly and can be grabbed right from your S60 browser.
Note: Please do not redistribute these themes without linking to this post. Thanks.

CommentsTheme Master Taieb Has a Site!
How I forgot to tell everyone about this earlier I have no idea, but one of my favorite themers has recently launched his own website!

That’s right people… Taieb! I’ve featured his themes quite often here on SiMo and I’ve asked him about putting up a site for quite a while. Well it looks like he finally got some help and his site is looking great. You’ll find a big archive of nearly all the S60 3rd work he’s done to date. There are also RSS feeds that you can subscribe to so that you’re notified as soon as a new Taieb theme hits the net (though images don’t seem to be working yet).
So a belated congratulations to the very talented Taieb. Now head on over to his site and have fun exploring…

Ok, ok… I get it! People want more Taieb! I’ve gotten a bunch of emails since the last SiMo themes post and they all ask for the same thing: More Taieb. Consider it done. All themes are 100% SVG, 100% free and 100% awesome. Every download includes a version with Taieb’s icons and a version that uses the default icons. Enjoy.

It’s theme time people, and I’ve got some gems for you today. Taieb makes a strong showing today as usual, and there’s a great theme from Jendell that has been requested in many emails and comments. I have have a great theme from a newcomer to SiMo’s themes posts that I think you’ll really like. All themes are SVG and I’ve changed the linking system so downloads will now work directly to your S60 device if you happen to be reading this post on your handset. Enjoy!
