Sony Ericsson Intros Red G900 Touchscreen Phone in UK

Sony Ericsson recently launched a red version of its latest mobile phone, the Sony Ericsson G900, in the U.K. The red G900 phone is equipped with the same technology used in the G900 series and the original model. It also has the same design and comes with the same features; the only difference is that Sony has outfitted the phone in a red casing. Currently, the Sony Ericsson G900 is only available on the O2 U.K. network, but is soon to be released on other networks. [Read]

Sony Ericsson?s W350 Ranks As Slimmest Flip-phone

At 10 mm thick, Sony Ericsson's new W350 Walkman, first unveiled at CES last January (the GSM design is now available through Rogers Wireless) ranks as the slimmest flip-phone available in Canada. It measures 104 x 43 x 10.9 mm (4.1 x 1.7 x 0.4 inches) and weighs 80 grams (2.8 oz.). As one of Sony Ericsson's Walkman designs, the W350 offers stereo A2DP Bluetooth support, FM radio with RDS, and polyphonic ringtones. Sony Ericsson Xperia X5?

A Sony Ericsson touchscreen phone with an 8MP camera, the Xperia X5, has been glimpsed on the internet, and set the blades of the rumour mill spinning. A picture of the alleged next Xperia handset has found it's way onto the internet. Looking at the picture it seems to be a concept of some sort mocked up by a SE fanboy. Rumours are saying it will have an 8 Mega Pixel camera, 3.2 inch touch-screen, Wi-Fi and 3.5G connectivity. Seeing the Xperia X1 is about to be released very soon and that was announced a very long time ago and in a very secretive way, I wouldn't be surprised if this is a concept design in the end. Let's hope it is true for the Sake Of Sony Ericsson itself, things aren't looking too bright or interesting in their corner currently. [Read]

Guess we've missed this, but it was just recently when we caught Qiao Xing Mobile's press release announcing that its VEVA S60 luxury handset has achieved a great success. The device was originally released in May of this year, and during the second quarter the company has sold nearly 100,000 units. Qiao Xing plans to sell 300,000 units in Q3 2008 and somehow we think they'll succeed. The reason is simple - the VEVA S60 is made through cooperation with Swarovski, and each phone is decorated with 129 Swarovski crystal mosaic and 18K gold coating. Motorola's US Mobile Phone Sales Plummet
