BlackBerry Malware Unveiled
A BlackBerry Trojan horse has surfaced that, when launched, grants an attacker access to the wireless network to which the devices connect. A researcher told attendees at a conference last weekend that he had developed the malware, dubbed BBProxy, which exploits the link between a BlackBerry and its email server. While not viewed as a threat to customers, the malware is one of the first aimed specifically at the ubiquitous wireless devices, according to manufacturer Research in Motion. [Read]
